What is ESPORTS?

Think of esports as competitive video gaming where skill and professionalism are celebrated.

Pro players who play at this level know the games inside out, much like a professional footballer or athlete would in their sport.

Every country has its own levels of governance and support, in some countries esports is also classified as a sport and many countries have national esports federations who support national team competition, some also run schools competitions already, others don’t yet and EGAMES can support to establish these competitions. The game publishers/developers and tournament organisers set the rules, and are responsible for ensuring integrity and handing out penalties where necessary.
